Honestly, I’m not sure how I feel about the new Grail Front mechanic. On the one hand, it’s fun and it allows you to show off or develop (or both) your strategy skills. On the other? It can be very frustrating—especially if you have no survival options for your Servants. I went through six of the seven before I became bored and decided that farming was more important.
Tl’dr, I focused more on farming and opening boxes.
The new Grail Front mechanic is going to be a thing for a few events over the course of the next year, some of them may not involve any farming—those, I might just ignore. As for the others, we’ll see.
The gacha was particularly fruitful for me. I actually ended up with Scáthach at NP4—which also meant that I could unlock all of her append skills and level them up to lvl 6.
Got some serious regrets about not rolling for more copies of Musashi during her rate-up back in April. At the rate I’m going, Musashi might be the first 5🌟 I raise to lvl 100. As it current stands, I’m relying on bond-level coins for getting her append skills unlocked—and I only have 115 so far.
Yes, I was supposed to publish this post a few weeks ago but I was in the middle of attempting to close on a new house, which by the time this event was done, we had already missed two closing dates.
We did finally close and we’re in the process of cleaning up after the move. That’s why this post—even if it’s back-dated to the 5th—is so late.
