Fate Grand Order USA’s GUDAGUDA 2024 event was lightly entertaining yet took itself a little too seriously, which continues the trend from last year. GUDAGUDA events always struck me as “joke” events, similar to the holiday-themed events, so it’s surprising to see the attempt at seriousness between this year’s and last year’s events.
That being said, the story felt disjointed. Not to mention, Sen-no-Rikyu was suss from the beginning—which I guess that could be part of the joke about merchants. Ishida’s stick up his ass jokes notwithstanding, the story was—eh. It kept me entertained.

As for the summons campaign, I wasn’t interested in rolling for any of the Servants this time around, though I did get Keisuke while trying for event CEs, so now I have most of the Shinsengumi minus Hijikata.

I finished the event with leveling Iyo but I haven’t found a scenario where I can use an AoE Arts Ruler, particularly one like Iyo. I think what might negate her usefulness is her lack of survival skills—I’d have to build a team specifically around her in order to make use of her full capabilities.
That being said, despite the mehness of the event, it was still fun and fairly easy to farm though I’m still avoiding the 90+ nodes because I have yet to figure out a means of three-turning those nodes.
Other than that, I almost finished the points ladder before finally running out of steam. Now, we’re on the fifth Road to Lostbelt 7 campaign. Next month, we’ll get this year’s Halloween event, which gives us a new welfare Servant, Pretender Elisabeth Bathory. After that is the Tamlin Cup and I haven’t decided if I’m going to skip that event. I’m not impressed by Britomart at all—they had a chance with her 1st Ascension art, but after that it’s basically trash.

And that’s it for me!
